Moon Composite

I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to reach out and grab the moon, so I decided to give it a try.

First I took a few pictures of myself, then merged two of them so you couldn’t see my trigger remote. Then I cut myself out by selecting and masking the layer.

Then I created a moon balloon and found some stock images to use for the background.

I placed each image on their own layer in Photoshop, then began the editing magic…

I did tweak the skirt a bit more after that recording (I wasn’t quite happy with it). I also added an oil painting filter to smooth out the final image. Here is the final image:

If you want the moon, just reach out and grab it. 😜🌝🎈
